Praying for you brother! I like the ESV Study bible as well. I have talked several of my youth into getting one. They seem to really like it.

Matt, sounds like February first will be a good day and another step in getting the church plant going. That's awesome bro. Praise God for what he has planted in your heart!
It's DNOW season! I'm leading worship at one next weekend.
Blessings to you brother.

For really long trips that we take with Meredith, we time it for her bed time....but that would mean that you would be driving through the night. I hope that your travels go well! Let us know when you are coming through the Greensboro/Winston Salem area and perhaps we can meet you!

That's hilarious and true in a lot of ways...so many little things in that video that hit the nail on the head. As the church not only we do need to think about how we market ourselves, we should be the best at it. Every other successful organization has good marketing. Why shouldn't we? Most of the time (like in the video) we miserably fail. It can be so awkward for first time people, when they are introduced to church because of the way we have set up our church culture. I don't have it all figured out, but I want to try my best to do what ever it is to engage the culture around my church body, so I can be effective in building God's Kingdom...instead of doing the same thing over and over again and never asking "why?" I want to walk into some churches and scream PLEASE GET A CLUE! Great post, great video.
