I have enjoyed being able to turn on ESPN this week and catch a basketball game every night. Although one night I all I could find was NBA, it is great just to see basketball. Growing up Indiana Basketball was a staple in our house, although I went through a period of rebellion where I was a devout Kentucky fan, and you can’t have Indiana Basketball without the fight song. For those of you that ever watched Indiana on channel four you will remember this classic introduction.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, thanks for sending it to me mom.

Oh the memories that commercial brings to mind here in southern Indiana. Kudoes to your mom for sending it and to you for sharing it.
More as a comment on the previous entry, Share Your Faith Fridays. I ran into this quote today which is worthy of thought…….
“The smallest good deed is finer than the greatest good intention.”
And I leave you with this poem on making the sign of the cross. I have seen it made in mockery but it can be very meaningful if thought is added to the action.
I place my right hand upon my forehead
recalling the “mind” of God’s Son.
Humble compliance replacing instead
His right of absolute authority.
Read Philippians 2 and you will see.
I move my hand past my mouth to my heart
reminding me to guard my tongue.
A word to the wise, revealing our part–
Speak the truth in love and maturity.
Check Ephesians 4, do you agree?
I pause at my breast in silence awhile
reflecting on the fervor of the young.
Peter and John recapping their trial
“Disobey God? Impossibility!”
Give Acts chapter 4 careful study.
Then I touch my shoulders both left and right
remembering Christ’s call to action.
Jesus referring to salt and light
outlines awesome responsibility.
Go to Matthew 5 to hear His plea.
Craft your own sign of the cross;
state the evidence for your zeal.
Be ready in a moment’s time
to shield your faith from assault,
your belief in God to reveal.
